The Narda FieldMan performs highly accurate measure-ments of non-ionizing high-frequency radiation and low-frequency fields. Equipped with digital probes for measuringelectric or magnetic field strengths, it covers the range fromstatic and low-frequency fields in medical and industrialapplications to mobile radio frequencies and millimeterwaves. Flat frequency response probes (“flat probes”), aswell as so-called shaped probes that evaluate the fieldstrength on the basis of a human safety standard areavailable. Probes with built-in FFT analysis enable spectralmeasurements along with time domain analyses up tofrequencies of 400 kHz. All probes have a digital interfacethat transmits the measurement data to the basic device ina fail-safe manner. This eliminates the need to calibrate thebasic unit.The FieldMan is available in two device variants, one withradio communication and voice recording and a radio-freedevice without microphone.
